Using Unetbootin to create a bootable
usb drive of DBAD fails on boot with the message “Could not find
ramdisk image:/ubninit”
To fix this insert the usb drive back
into a computer and open up “syslinux.cfg” in a text editor. Find
and replace all occurrences “ubninit” with “ISOLINUX.BIN” and
do the same with “ubnkern” with “DBAN.BZI”. Make sure that
you match the case.
Hi i tried this and all i get now is a black screen
ReplyDeleteDban 2.3.0. I edited just one instance of ubninit to ISOLINUX.BIN for the wipe option i use (dod3pass). No other changes. Works perfectly. Thanks for the help on what to edit!
